Calibrated depth gauge measures 0 to 8.0" (0 to 200mm) with 0.00005" (0.001mm) resolution and + or - 0.0003" accuracy, for measuring the depth of holes and other depressions.
LCD screen of the indicator (Mitutoyo 543-392B) displays measurements in inches and metric units and unit has a flat back for stem/plate mounting.
Comes with a carbide-tipped contact point and four extension rods (0.5", 1", 2", and 4") for flexibility in measuring range.
Base is 4 x 0.63 inches (W x D) for stability, and is hardened, ground, and lapped for accuracy.
