  • Please Note: In order to keep the fuel water level sensor from touching the bottom of the tank, if the tank is made of metal, the length of the sensor should be 0.5 inch less than the depth of the tank. If the tank is made of plastic, the length of the sensor should be 1inch less than the depth of the tank.
